About the Authors

One day John and Bob got tired of reading the replies on Tim Sassone’s message board in the Daily Herald and on Chicagoblackhawks.com, so they decided to do something about it.  No longer will Blackhawk fans be subject to idiotic opinions and old school ways.  Bob and John are here to undo the shackles on your hockey souls.  Not everything in hockey is solved by ‘hitting someone’ or screaming ‘SHOOT!’ on a powerplay.  They are here to guide you in your return to the world of hockey.  They hope you enjoy your stay.

  1. Hello,
I write a Blackhawks blog for the Chicago Examiner, and I am going to do some shameless self promotion. I was wondering if you could check out my work and, if you enjoy it, place it on your blogroll. Thanks.

Hey guys, great site. I’m out of Chicago now, but still follow the Hawks quite a bit. Please let me know if you would like to exchange links:

Would you be interested in exchanging links? Or putting up an ad for cheap boner pills?

You guys strike the perfect balance between hard knocks and tough love.

John and Bob – quick question for you. I read the FF quite a bit on my blackberry and I recently selected out of the mobile version (while background) to check something in the full version (black background), and now I can’t get the mobile version back (it’s a hellova lot easier to read). Any idea on how I can get back to the mobile version? Please let me know – and “no clue” is a viable answer to me being an idiot…

    Take care,
    Patrick

  9. John says:

no clue, but I’ll pass your question along.

    Hey fellas:
Just want to extend a sticktap to both of you’se for an equally breezy and insightful site. (Found via Puck Daddy…)

By way of an intro, I’m a journalist/documentarian and life-long Ranger fan who, by relating to so much Second City hockey heartache reflexively relished your boys’ triumph last year. (I also post on Ranger sites, primarily Blue Seat blog.)

I know the likes of Secord, Graham, JR, Charlie and Magnuson are proud of this club’s heart.

Here’s to Brent Seabrook and Dave Bolland’s long-term health.

  13. Mr. V says:

I gonna yell shoot at Frolik until he lights the lamp. Link back to me eh?
http://www.hocktock.com You’ll be glad you did.
